Visiting the Okavango delta is so rewarding. The magnificent Okavango offers a diversity of biological productions. More than 400 species of birds, 71 fish, 1,300 species of plants, and tens of thousands of invertebrate species, a wealth of biological production.
We will reach the banks of an absolute oasis in the Kalahari basin. Here we will meet our community guides, real experts in poling the traditional dugout canoes. They will take us deep into the heart of the world’s largest inland Okavango delta. This place has amazing numbers of elephants, red lechwe, buffalos, lions, leopards, cheetahs, birds, plants, reptiles, and inserts. Poling through the meandering channels of the Okavango is a breathtaking experience. Just sit back and relax as the water gurgles gently under the mokoro while your experienced poler points out the Flora and fauna. Activities on the islands include guided nature walks and mokoro excursions.
